Kessalyn's Coming! (Part 7)

1:35 PM, Saturday Afternoon:

Tianna's contractions are getting stronger and more regular, so that's good.

The baby's heart monitor has a speaker that lets us actually hear the heartbeat. Usually they only have it on long enough to get the monitor working correctly, but our nurse left it on last time, so we've been hearing it for a while. We're using this time to get to know our baby.

So far, she sounds like a racehorse. Except for when she kicks the monitor. Then it sounds like a 3-year-old blowing into a microphone.

Good times, eh?

I love it when my baby kicked the monitor. He surely hated anything invading his space in any way. He kicked it so much that the nurse laughed and turned the sound way way down.

Why don't you skip "Tetris" and give her "Alexis" as a middle name, after Alexey Pajitnov, the inventor of the game. As least then you won't snicker during the blessing.
