Housing update

The current plan in our housing adventures?  Building.  In Lehi.  Specifically, building this:

Isn't it pretty?  I'd show you the floor plan, but they don't have it on their website and our scanner is broken.  Sorry, folks.  Come visit us if you're interested.

It's not guaranteed yet, but that's definitely the option we're currently pursuing.  A lot just depends on if we can find a lot that we like for a price that we like in a size that we like in a location that we like. We may end up building a different house if the price of lots are too high.  (Sorry, they don't have a picture of that one online.)  One that is more vertical instead of more horizontal.  Don't worry.  I'll keep you posted.

Our condo is also officially for sale.  You can see it online here.  It's really be a fantastic place to live. I'm really going to miss our ward.  I'm seriously going to miss the location.  (Walking distance to: Maceys, library, post office, Target, Smiths, Ridley's and Travis'.  Really close to everything, but just far enough off the main roads to make it feel secluded and have fairly little traffic.)  I'm gonna miss my friends.  I'm gonna miss living so close to Travis and his garden.  I'm gonna miss having such instant access to babysitters (but maybe I'll make great friends next door in our new place?)  But it's very financially sound for us to sell in say, the next month.  So we're really trying to push to get sold.  (We'll live in BJ's parents' basement for awhile if we don't have somewhere to move into at that time.)

So seriously, if you know someone looking for a great condo in a great location, send them our way.  Please!  It's a fabulous time to buy.  :D

Wish us luck!  It's been a crazy ride so far and it's gonna stay that way for awhile yet, methinks.

Hey I worked for Bruce Tucker. Prudential changed its name. I think I know Lori. Maybe not.

Anyway, good luck and all that.

It's beautiful!

Just out of curiosity, why did you guys start looking at building instead of buying?
